Best of Springfield is a community contest highlighting the “best of the best” in Springfield and Clark County and what makes our community unique.
Align your business with this contest by enhancing your visibility through various sponsorship opportunities that include online digital presence June through August and wraps up with a special Springfield News-Sun print section in Oct. Your investment in this initiative provides an opportunity to reach this highly engaged, influential audience.

Winners and finalists will have bragging rights the following year and be able to use the Best of Springfield logo in their marketing & promotions as desired.
PUBLIC NOMINATING AND VOTING
Jun 17 –Jun 28: The public will nominate the “Best of” in over 50 categories covering a variety of business and interests.
NOTIFICATION
Jul 22 –Aug 9: Following the nomination period, finalists will be vetted & chosen for voting.
All voting will be done at www.springfieldnewssun.com/bestofspringfield/
WINNERS ANNOUNCED
Oct 10: Winners will be announced in a print special magazine and online. The contest will be heavily promoted via print, social media/digital and other media outlets.
The contest is comprised of 9 categories and approximately 150 contests that fall under each.
A category ad is a large ad that is displayed at the top of each category. There is one ”category” sponsorship available for each of the nine (9) categories.

A contest ad is a smaller ad that is displayed at the top of each contest. There are up to five (5) rotating sponsors for each – these ad placements are not category exclusive.

Now entering its eigth year, the Best of Springfield contest honoring our local best continues to be one of Springfield’s most engaging events! Thousands of ballots are cast each year in more than fifty individual contests ranging from restaurants and retail to personal and professional services.
The Greater Springfield Partnership is again partnering with our friends at the Springfield News-Sun to expand the voting platform and ensure wider distribution of the popular Best of Springfield publication.
Fill out the form if you want the Cox First Media team to reach out to you regarding ad placements in the Best of Springfield magazine which will now be distributed with the Sunday edition of the Springfield News-Sun on October 15th.
